Regional meeting of the Mediterranean Archives

Delegates from Mediterranean TV archives (Greece-ERT, Spain-TVC, Italy-RAI, Tunisia-ERTT, Jordan-JRTV, Lebanon- TéléLiban, Romania-TVR, France-INA) met in Marseille, at INA Méditerranée premises to discuss the advancement of the CAP-MED project. FIAT, Eureka Audiovisual, CNCA and COPEAM were also represented.

The main focus was on the preparation of the CAP-MED proposal to the expected call to be issued in August by the European Commission DG1, in the frame of the Euromed Audiovisual programme.

The CAP-Med project aims at building a co-operative, on-line and multilingual data base of Mediterranean TV archives.

Nancy Angel (INA) and Faïza Majeri (ERTT) will give a short report in the Firenze session dedicated to regional cooperation.
