I'm your new FIAT/IFTA Administrative Coordinator!

I was born in the north of Sweden where the Arctic Circle crosses our country next to the Finnish border. It is a region of Sweden where people speak both the Swedish and the Finnish languages. For me it has been a privilege to be brought up with these two languages. Unfortunately I had to leave this beautiful landscape and the midnight sun for studies in Stockholm, but I have to confess that I really don't miss the mosquitos.

After having finished my studies at the University and the Library School I was employed at the Swedish Television archive. I have been working now as an archivist for 15 years. The last two years I have been working as deputy project manager with an IT project for constructing a new stock control system for SVT.

I am looking forward to work as the Administrative Coordinator for FIAT/IFTA. It will be a great opportunity to develope my knowledge about audiovisual archives in other countries. I also think it will be interesting to get the possibility of creating new relations with the FIAT members all over the World.
