Televisió de Catalunya (TVC), the public television in Barcelona (Spain), is preparing now a special documentary about the Spanish banker and financier Juan March Ordinas (1880-1962) and we are searching as many pictures and images of him as possible.

He was involved in the "Barcelona Traction" affair. So we are very interested to find pictures of the following facts : in the Peace Palace, in the Hague, on the 5th of February 1970 sixteen judges on the International Court of Justice, scores and lawyers representing the governments of Belgium and Spain were in the Court's judgment on the case concerning the "Barcelona Traction, Light and Power Company, Ltd" also named Fuerzas Eléctricas de Cataluña (FECSA). The oral sessions took place between April 1st and July 22, 1969. In the affair "Barcelona Traction", the lawyer of Juan March was from Spanish part José Maria Gil Robles and from Belgium part Mr. Mann of the firm Herbert Smith & Company of London.

Request for equipment !

The Macedonian Television Archive has very limited resources and lacks the basic equipment to view and transfer the old formats. Some advanced and well equipped Archives might want to get rid of old machines which they do not use anymore. I am interested in getting into contact with those Archives.
