Treasures from the Royal Film Archive
Restored film material from the beginning of the 20th century

Bonsoir (Gaumont, 1906) |
Exclusively for the international FIAT/IFTA audience, the Royal Belgian Film
Archive will show a selection of short, charming and amazing film clips that
make up the treasure of their archives. The copies shown are the result of
a rescue and restoration operation, that enables us now to see those films
from the beginning of the 20th century in their original splendour. Old documentary
material as well as fiction films regained the long forgotten beauty of their
true colours. We'll take you on a voyage in time. Rediscover the magic of old
images that belong to a past that has disappeared forever and of which these
images constitute the unique historic testimony.
